So the past months has been all about 3D design and animation, and mathematics.. Now i can show you a my first animated 3D Sequence!

It was a school assignment based one object animation, and I turned it in favor of a cinematic approach, which then got the Zelda theme applied, and for the sake of simplicity I decided to make the characters in the LEGO Minifigure format.

This is also due to my intention to start up a LEGO CUUSOO Project focused on making LEGO Zelda an official product line.
For those of you not familiar with LEGO CUUSOO, it is a service that lets people submit their ideas for potential of becoming an official product, given it manage to get 10,000 votes.
It could be a creation of your own, a theme of your own imagination, or an official license.
The last project to achieve this was the LEGO MINECRAFT Project which rounded up 10,000 votes in a very short time due to it's dedicated fan-base.

Mingles () here on Deviantart has started  such a project and presented the most impressive LEGO based/inspired items I've ever seen and be able to possess.

So, how are you, wonderful watchers?!

As it is, we cannot control time, and in my life, it has come to that point where your Tablet PC starts playing it's Requiem...
It has been serving me well the past 2 years, 7 months and 9 days, and has been an outstanding companion.

Over time, it's memory grew weak and it couldn't handle the bigger mysteries of art, in the same way as before... Now it is only a shell of it's former self...
And it's time for me to find the Legacy...
The Legacy of Thiron...

In due time, I will part from this companion.. But as for now, it is the wait... The wait for the Legacy to reveal itself!


... Just trying to say, that the reason there haven't been much work from me the past months is due to my PC growing weaker and slowly dying...
And as i can't afford a new stationary PC with screen, and what i would consider most important, a 21" Cintiq tablet... I just have to strike at a new Tablet PC.

As I've been using a HP TX2000 series Tablet PC, i can by no means go back to a tablet without a visual feedback display.
And now that there are some rumours of a new HP Tablet (obviously more powerful than the current Touchsmart TM2 2000), I await to se what lies on the horizon before any immediate investments...

So I just have to appologize to all of you watching me, there won't be much digital art from me in the nearest future... Sadly enough.

However, I will be focusing on more traditional art, especially modeling/sculpting.
And for those of you not aware.. An idea from back in august have grown into a radically big idea, though I often aim higher than I can achieve.
Nonetheless..

Today is the day a fan art piece of a character of mine, saw the light of day.

I'm surprised by his ability to capture some of the elements of the character, with so little info and references, and come up with this result.
Surely his vision of him is much different from what I imagine, but the dark elements surely are there, expressing some of the the personality... AWESOME!

I must say, when someone do fan art of your OC's, it really makes you feel you've achieved creating a good foundation for a character and setting/story.
Especially when there's no other art than one piece displaying just a little of the head.

I might as well use this journal to ask You, everyone watching Me, What is it you like about My art, what would you want to see more of, or what would you like see me try out?

Currently I have several projects of mine, stories, I want to visualize...
The major stories are:

I. "The legend of Aaldauria"
Which is a medieval fantasy adventure, inspired by Norwegian nature and such, with more LOTR like features...

II. "Techion"
A Science-Fiction action adventure, set in a futuristic setting where the humans discover a technological life form of unknown origins, beyond anything the species of the known parts of the universe have seen before... And a greater plot unfolding.

III. "The New Era"
Manga/comic like storytelling, where there are this black rock/asteroid hitting the planet where the story takes place. It consists of an unknown dark substance/matter which can shape itself into tar like creatures, eradicating humans for unknown reasons.
However, some humans can absorb this matter and manipulate it in any way they like.
So... Super heroes, fighting black sharp edged exoskeletal monsters, by any means.

So I would love to hear Your opinions...

Well I've had this plans for about 2+ years, 1 year ago it became much more specified now I just need time and more knowledge on varieties of physics, science and technology so I can make a more realistic foundation (of course I have to be creative as well but not to far fetched)

So here an edited excerpt about it, from he "WIP "The Raven" Rust Test":


"...I named My sci-fi universe by the (in time of writing) name Techion, later I thought of the greek meaning of the word which would be tekhne + ion which translated would sound something like "(crafting)Skill + Something that goes"
so my conclusion would make it sound something like:

"The Knowledge of Charged Atoms"

So since Technology would mean knowledge/skill off crafting and Ion is a group of atoms positive or negatively charged. this would finally be meaning "The Technology of Ions" as for now. Have to do more study concerning physics, technology/science, astrophysics and perhaps greek/latin..

And since i didn't have a concrete guideline in the story this is okay at the moment.
So there will be a remote earth like planet(s) mostly inspired by  the surroundings of my home, green botanic life (some of them brought from earth), monster eel like dragon alien things(and other alien creatures), blueish atmosphere lots of rain(visually tropic like environment, tough it is rather cold, no it's not Crysis, neither inspired by it)
And there will be pretty much hi-tech...STUFF much blue light amongst others.

Synthetic Bio-mechanical army (loves invading, Why?... time will show. *runs off, thinking of why mean aliens love invading*) will be a central part of the story.

... They look like the Geth... only black. Thing is I didn't make the design based on MASS EFFECT, I am sure the first drawing I made, laying a foundation for the the design, was approximately a year prior to the release of the game...
But the Geth's blue eyes affected me so they have blue LED like lights for eyes.

Well, At last, when you have imagined (In your own opinion) a  great epic sci-fi adventure, who wouldn't be a part of it?

Well due to my egotistical self (not narcissistic) I wouldn't want more, to be part of this epic story.
So I've put myself into a futuristic battling armor and an a helmet I really am pleased with, it has a drop down visor with a advanced visual, tactical, military one of a kind  prototype vision interface... Dunno what it is, yet but it is Hi-Tech that's all you need to know at the moment. Here it is btw [link]
